Since Cristina and Sofia were still on the mend, we made no efforts to get up early. We eventually loaded up the car after a slow breakfast and some blog catch-up (and one last load of clothes dried and folded). We took our group picture on the porch with the beautiful view behind us.
We drove the scenic route to Langenthal, stopping along the way at a factory that makes seasonings, dried fruit, and drink syrups. We bought some Swiss herbal salt and had a nice chat with Barbara, the woman working in the factory shop. She had a friend who was currently visiting Florida and was happy to show us some pictures from her Facebook page when she heard where we were from.
Back at the Tardent house, we got re-settled and had dinner. Then we took our tea and coffee outside. It was a warm (almost hot) evening, and the kids played in the yard. Cristina and Brigitte toured all the plants and herbs in the garden, Alex and Beatrice kicked a football around (Alex got super sweaty), and I shot pictures of the kids doing various stunts on the mini-trampoline.
Anne is the gymnast, as if you couldn't figure that out.
Beatrice took a break from football to practice her kung fu moves.
Alex attempted to kick a ball tossed to him in the air. It was difficult.
