Before heading back to Arhus, we had two engagements. Brunch with some old friends of Mette and Jesper's, and tea with Mette's parents.
Breakfast with Mette and Paul was very nice. They had spent four weeks in the States last year on vacation, so it was fun to hear about their own travel adventures through California, Las Vegas, and NYC.
Alex kicked the ball around with Anders Carl. And Bella just bought a Toyota.
Next, we went back to the summer house and got packed up. Some of us went for one last walk around the dunes. Then we loaded up and drove to the home of Mogens and Birte, Mette's (and Søren's) parents.
They were lovely. They treated us to a lavish feast of coffee, tea, cinnamon buns, oatmeal cookies, chocolate banana cake, and ice cream. We chatted for about an hour before it was time to head on.
In the car on the drive back to Arhus, the kids were being goofy and requested Cristina to take photos.
