Vintage Big Bird
My parents just cut their sheepdog's hair, and the before and after pictures reminded me of the difference between current Big Bird and early Big Bird:
Big Bird had a hick accent in those early years too!

So, you are saying you like the "full" effect better than the skinny looking one? I do as far as Big Bird is concerned but I am leaning heavily towards keeping Cadie fairly short all of the time. We were forced to cut her shorter than we liked because the matting was so terrible and could not be cut out entirely without cutting some of her areas too short. She will look "just right" in a week of two. :)
