Was my sister on Oprah?!

I fell asleep with the kids last night and I was awoken by Cristina, who was 99% sure she had just seen my sister Lynn on Oprah (she tapes it every day and watches it after the kids are in bed). She asked me to come take a look but I was half asleep and I thought she was crazy, or I was dreaming, or maybe a bit of both. So this morning she showed me the tape. The Oprah show was in Asheville, and it did look an awfully lot like Lynn's condos, and for a quick flash, it did kind of look like Lynn! You decide:

So was this Lynn? And if so, how come she didn't tell us to look for her guest appearance on Oprah? I'm not convinced. It didn't quite look like Lynn's kind of clothes. But it's definitely possible. Okay, Lynn...tell us!

looks like Lynn, but surely she would have said she helped with the project and to watch for her. I saw parts of the show, and knew it was from Asheville, the people were actually teachers, and one taught in Henderson County(where I live). It was pretty cool. Felicia was the one who told me about it.

It's me! Here is the letter I sent to only ten people the day they were filming that episode of Oprah.

As I type this there are film crews here at the condos satelliting an interview with a family for a segment for Oprah. I don't know when it will air. It is supposed to be live, but I chatted with a guy who is working on it (as I went out to walk the dog in my PJs with my hair and face all yucky still) and he said it might be a live feed for the taping, but the show itself might not be live. Since Oprah comes on here at 4 and it is now 10 am I think it will not be live. But anyway, I told him I probably wouldn't get to watch it as I was having my cable disconnected today to save money ($20 big fat dollars a month). I had also retrieved a book from my car when I was taking Hershey out and he said I was better off with the book than watching Oprah on TV anyway. He was a very nice man. Said he was taking his daughter to see a taping of "So you think you can dance" in Charlotte tonight. Has had tickets for 4 months. Anyway, jsut thought this was interesting. All those trucks and portable satellite units and cables running everywhere outside right now into building number 6 next door.
I might go check it out once I gt a shower. They may be gone by then, though. Oh and he said it costs about $80,000 to do this part of the show.

(He didn't seem so fond of Oprah or understand her appeal. Like it was silly or something.) Sometimes I agree, sometimes I think she is full of herself, but other times I like her shows.
To each his own, right? Some people might think "So you think you can dance" is silly.

I'll write more on my own blog. How about that.
